SMS Alerts to your Trusted Contacts

MyRedFlare can now send SMS Alert Messages to your Trusted Contacts, in addition to the standard email Alert Messages (if you fail to disarm in time). They will then know straight away that you have gone missing. More info...

Operate MyRedFlare from your Mobile/Cellphone

Once you have properly setup MyRedFlare you can do the following using SMS:

• ARM SARWATCH.
• DISARM SARWATCH.
• EXTEND your alert time.
• STATUS - check whether you have Armed SARWATCH, and your Alert Time setting.
• LOG information, such as your location or changes to your plan.
• SOS - Trigger MyRedFlare NOW, rather than waiting for your alert time to expire.
• OK - Tell us and your contacts that you are OK after Alert Messages have been sent.

Before Using SMS to operate SARWATCH...

Prior to using SMS messages to operate MyRedFlare SARWATCH you must:

1. Purchase a quantity of SMS credits.

2. Set your mobile/cell phone number and an SMS password on your DETAILS page.

Any SMS Command that you send to MyRedFlare must be sent to: +61429100704

Notes:

1. You must include the "+" sign to ensure that your SMS
   will be sent correctly irrespective of which country you are in.
2. This contact number will be included in any SMS message that MyRedFlare sends you, so you will have a record of it.
3. This is an Australian phone number, but you can send SMS messages to it from anywhere in the world. Numbers in other countries will be added in due course.
